General/Question Problems with Footnotes

Problems with Footnotes was created by winkai71
Hello,
There seems to be a step missing from the instructions.
Is it possible to use footnotes with JCE or TinyMCE and how do I define the footnote at the point from which the reference is to be made? If I enter in the text at the appropriate place e.g.
{footnote} example {/footnote}
I see the text as plain text, but no footnote.
The plug-in is active and configured as in the documentation, whereby I have tried both "Use CSS from plugin" on and off.
